In his brief time on the active roster, Reed played three games, accumulating 10 tackles and one sack. Unfortunately, his time on the active roster was cut short when he returned to the practice squad on September 1, 2024. Before joining the Stampeders, Reed had a notable collegiate career. He started as a redshirt freshman at Kansas State in 2019 before transferring to San Jose State University, where he played from 2020 to 2023. During his time with the Spartans, Reed made a significant impact on the field, recording 105 tackles (79 solo, 26 assists), 6.5 tackles for loss, one sack, and one forced fumble. He also showcased his skills in pass defense with 12 breakups and two interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown.
