Confirmed: Michigan football to land four-star WR over Texas, USC

The Michigan football team is aiming to secure another significant commitment, with four-star wide receiver Andrew Marsh seriously considering the Wolverines. Michigan hopes to finish strong with a top-10 recruiting class for 2025, and landing Marsh would be a major boost. Currently, they have a favorable position with him and recently received an expert prediction in their favor.

“Michigan insider @LibbyOn3 has logged an expert prediction for the Wolverines to land 4-star WR Andrew Marsh,” On3 Recruits shared. “Marsh is ranked No. 62 nationally and No. 11 among wide receivers in the 2025 class.”

This news should excite Michigan football fans. The Wolverines have been active on the recruiting front lately and aim to maintain their momentum.

Andrew Marsh is ranked as the #58 player in the 2025 recruiting class by 247 Sports. He is the #8 wide receiver in the class and the #13 player from Texas. Currently, he attends Katy Jordan High School in Fulshear, Texas. Other schools to watch in his recruitment include Texas, USC, Kentucky, and Washington. Here’s what Gabe Brooks from 247 Sports said in his scouting report on the talented receiver:

“Marsh is an explosive and productive receiver with a lean, wiry build and impressive athleticism in high jump, vertical, and broad jump categories,” Brooks stated. “He frequently makes big plays due to his agility and strength after the catch. While his running style is somewhat unorthodox, he effectively fights through tackles and maintains balance to gain extra yardage despite his slimmer frame.

He has long strides and build-up speed, and he recorded early high school 400-meter times in the low 50-second range. He achieved a 6’4″ high jump as a junior. His vertical and broad jump numbers reflect his ability to compete for contested catches.

He shows above-average route leverage for his stage in development, finding ways to evade multiple defenders with his unique deceleration and acceleration skills, along with excellent balance and body control. He gained over 1,100 yards during his junior year and has accumulated more than 2,400 career receiving yards heading into his senior season.

Additionally, he adds value as a potential option in the return game, scoring one punt return touchdown in 2023. To fully leverage his playmaking ability against bigger and faster Power 5 defenders, he will need to add some mass and strength. Marsh is a high-major receiver prospect with the potential to become an impactful player and a legitimate candidate for the NFL Draft.”
