Davante Adams Gets Brutally Honest About Raiders Offense After Week 1 Loss

Based on Week 1, the Las Vegas Raiders’ offense may require time to gel. The team only scored 10 points, had three turnovers, and entered the red zone just once.

Expectations for the Raiders’ offense were low heading into the season, but this performance was particularly disappointing. However, star wide receiver Davante Adams wasn’t completely surprised. Following the 22-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, he shared his thoughts:

“I didn’t come into today expecting our offense to have its best game,” Adams stated during his September 8 postgame interview. “We just have to find what we can fix and go from there. … I saw some good things from Gardner Minshew, and we need to work together to support him as much as possible.”

“We have guys that can really stretch the field and we want to find ways to do more of that,” Minshew said after the game. “We still have very high expectations for what we can do as an offense. … We have a lot of juice, and once it clicks, it’s going to click.”
